We’ve had a wonderfully exciting and busy day. Firstly, Caval and Eugene’s engagement shoot, then a short break and off to Santa Paloma for Janine Oates‘ fashion shoot of her latest wedding dress designs. Four models, beautiful dresses, a lot of organising and help form Madelene and Jacques (Santa Paloma) and beautiful make-up by Colleen made the perfect team for an unforgettable fashion shoot. Thanks to all of you! Hope we can do it again soon. BTW – Girls in wedding dresses on a 4×4 Game Drive = Lots of laughter and Janine in damage control mode (with possibly a few heart attacks as well)! Thanks for that one Jacques…

As for the dresses, here are a few pics as a preview…. (and do not forget to leave a comment below!!!)

Caval and Eugene surprised us with their preparation for their engagement shoot today.
Costumes, accessories and attitude, everything to guarantee some great photo’s and a good time. The 1950′s was a time of class style and romance, this is also the theme for Caval and Eugene’s wedding and of course the engagement shoot we had today. We met up at Caval’s home at 09:00, went to an old railway platform and then visited the Ann Bryant art gallery.
We’ll be posting some more photos of their engagement shoot soon, enjoy the appetizers (and do not forget to comment below to let us know what you think).

Then there was Tracy-Lee and Leon’s engagement shoot on Saturday morning! Although they do not want to share how they met (I wonder why??), the fact that they are stunningly in love, cannot be denied. We have been scouting around recently for some exciting locations for shoots (it seems studio is out and location is in…), and the location of this shoot has been in my mind for a few years now. Tracy-Lee and Leon is mysterious, and nothing says mysterious like old buildings…

On Saturday and Sunday the 16th and 17th of July 2010 Gonubie was host to the second Gonubie 10′s tournament. I you haven’t heard of 10-a-side rugby, then you are forgiven, as this is the newest rendition of SA’s favourite sport. 10-a-side rugby makes for exciting viewing and lots of action. Add in some dancing girls and a beer-tent and your weekend is sorted out!
