TJ and Eric’s Stylish Midsummer Wedding
I am tempted to quote from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream as our groom, Eric, is a great fan of Shakespeare. (In fact, he quoted most of his wedding vows from Hamlet!) “The course of true love never did run smooth,” Lysander commented in this famous tale told by the bard. This was true for us on this day of capturing photos for this lovely couple. Heavy rain, and a small issue with a battery made sure that not everything ran smoothly for us. BUT challenges are an integral part of WHY we love wedding photography and the images captured on this Midsummer day proves the point.
Both TJ and Eric are residents from the United States and thinking about the quote above, living 75 miles (120kilometers) apart is no easy task! Dayton, New Jersey is home to Tenjiwe and West Chester, Pennsylvania, is where Eric earned his Lobola! Yes, Eric had to pay Lobola (or bride price). Tenjiwe has been a resident of the US for so long that her accent is clearly American, but she still is a homegrown beauty from East London with strong roots in Africa.

We wish TJ and Eric and equally lovely American wedding when they return to the “States”!

PS. Thanks to Michael (our videography friend) for pointing us to the great location for the portraiture shoot!
PSS. Upon our return from this wedding my PC developed some ‘random power off’ issues! GRRRRR. Mobo still under guarantee, but how long will I have to wait! Got a spare at my cost and up and running again….
