Sakhekile and Nwabisa probably got married on the hottest day in Grahamstown – EVER, or maybe Grahamstown is just always this hot in summer, but we could literally feel ourselves and our equipment melting…ok, ok, not really, but it sure felt like it!
The heat, however did nothing to affect the couple or their family and friends’ moods. We could feel the excitement and love in the air as soon as we arrived at their dressing places.
The couple held a beautiful ceremony which included a lot of symbolism, family and emotion, making it very clear what was the most important for this couple on their wedding day – their family, each other and God. It felt amazing being part of it all.
After the wedding ceremony we braved the heat to take some artistic photos at a nearby old train station.
One of the best part of their wedding day for me was when the bridal couple and their entourage entered the reception hall – I love their dancing moves and how happy they all looked.
