Monya and Tim’s South African wedding with a bit of London Flair.

This absolutely gorgeous couple lives in the UK but they are both originally from East London. So early January they traveled back to South Africa to celebrate their beautiful wedding with their family and friends, and they definitely brought along some of London’s flair. Monya’s dress was imported all the way from London.

Monya got dressed at the beautiful Lord Selborne Guesthouse in East London and it’s stunning interior added olden day glamour to the photos and it once again proof the point – where you get dressed definitely influences the appearance of your wedding photos!

Tim and his naughty guys got dressed at the Regent Hotel and as we were leaving for the ceremony, we bumped into DJ Fresh from 5fm!! DJ Fresh was a sport and agreed to pose for one of the photos with the groom (after Brendan – the bestman and also one of our previous grooms), asked DJ Fresh’s permission as me and Tim was a bit starstruck! Ha Ha)

I loved the bridemaid’s dresses – they were so striking without being flashy!

Monya’s Dad works at Transnet and he granted us access to a restricted area at the railway depot for our creative shoot.

The couples reception was held at Alexander Golf club in East London.

Poor Tim got sprayed by so much confetti during his speech, he could hardly get a word out.

It really was a beautiful and relaxed wedding and it was fun seeing some familiar faces! Monya and Tim, thank you for choosing us to capture your wedding memories and we wish you all the best for your lives together!
