From the moment we met Kristy-Lee and Roderick, we fell in love with this sweet couple. Kristy-Lee is probably one of the sweetest people we’ve ever met, and Roderick is the quite type who adores Kristy-Lee.
The couple planned a Farm-style wedding with hay bales as seat for the guests during the ceremony, which was originally planned to be outside at Cypress Dale, but on the day of the wedding it was cold and rainy and it was decided that the ceremony would be held indoors. What could have dampen the spirits of everyone, turned out to be a blessing in disguise…the ceremony was so intimate and cosy.
The venue looked absolutely stunning, with rustic Farm style decor everywhere.
After the ceremony we went to Kristy-Lee’s family farm to do some creative photos. I must really compliment the couple, even though it was a cold day, and things did not maybe work out exactly how they planned, they were never fazed by anything. You guys really were like a breath of fresh air and I loved being part of your wonderful day.
The couple has unfortunately moved to Australia this past friday so I could not get their “love story” from them before they left, however, I am sure anyone that reads this post, will see how much they love each other.
I would also like to thank Bruce Viaene from Bruce Viaene Photography for second shooting with me. It was our first wedding shooting together and we really worked so well together. It was awesome having you there.
Please keep an eye out for the 2 trash the dress shoots we did with Kristy-Lee and Roderick, they were great fun and we can’t wait to share them.
Kristy-Lee and Roderick – you are the type of couple that makes our work so special. We loved working with you and we wish you all the happiness and success with your new lives together. All the best in Australia!
