About us
“It takes a lifetime to find your soulmate and a split-second to miss it all.” – Lawrence Chan
Marius and Michelle
We are Marius and Michelle, Scorpion and Lion, husband and wife, bread and butter, oil to each other’s fires as well as each other’s Prozac! Our 2 kids (Mia and Chanté) and 3 dogs (one Spaniel and 2 Border collie crosses) keep us on our toes, inspire us and remind us every day of the love we share for each other and why we love doing what we do.
Our style is unique (guess everybody claims that) due to the inspiration we receive from every couple. You are unique in the way you met, lived through your experiences together and show your love. Often we comment that every image is like a child to us. We nurture it from the moment it was just an idea or vision in our mind’s eye up to the point where it graduates as the work of art it deserves to be. This is the standard by which we live our passion.
We have also recently been accepted as Members of Fearless Photographers, an elite international organisation showcasing only the top Photo-journalistic photographers in the world!
Based in the Eastern Cape, we love to travel and practice our photography anywhere in South Africa or the world! So if you want to chat over a coffee, tea or beer, feel free to contact us! We cover every part of South Africa, but the Eastern Cape is our base and our focus is especially on East London, Port Elizabeth, Jeffreys Bay, Knysna, George,Wilderness, Oudtshoorn, Queenstown, Grahamstown, Port Alfred, King Williamstown, Somerset East, Cradock, Humansdorp and more!

Kathleen (Photographer)
Kathleen is now what we call a PHOTOGRAPHER! After studying for her diploma in photography in Port Elizabeth, and building up an impressive and all-encompassing portfolio of note, we have the privilege of announcing Kathleen as a versatile and accomplished member of our team! In her own words:
“The fact that moments can be easily forgotten with passing time, is what ignited my love for photography. So many precious moments go by without any physical evidence of the event, and those moments usually make for the most emotional and breathtaking photographs. From there I started to explore more and more and with the help of travel I started capturing not just moments, but sceneries, which sparked my passion for landscape photography which is still one of my favourite genres of photography. I started to explore all types of photography and found that I couldn’t see myself loving any other career as much as I do photography, so I decided to study photography full time.
Besides for photography, animals, mainly birds, are a big part of my life. I rehabilitate injured or abandoned birds and any other animal whose path crosses mine. I currently have 2 doves and a 2 month old starling in my care.”

Laurie
Laurie (Marketer and Photographer)
Laurie’s dedication and pioneering spirit drew us to her and welcoming her to the team is a true privilege! Reading what she has to say about herself will let you understand why Laurie is part of the team!
“Hi, my name is Laurie Watson and I am all about photography!!
I am 29 years old, originally from JHB and have just recently located to East London.
I have always had a passion for photography and this is how this chapter began….
I am hearing impaired and found myself in a very tricky situation not so long ago, I needed new hearing aids !! So… I decided that it was time to take my talent further. I attended workshops and did courses and invested in a camera. I started from my home after work in the evenings and weekends in order to get some savings to get these new hearing aids.I am very proud to say I have not only gotten my new hearing aids but I am now a full time photographer.
What I love most about photography and being the photographer I am is: I love people and I find with all my photo shoots my client’s realize that they actually are quite pretty and they start to bloom. It’s very rewarding for me.
I am very excited and blessed to be part of FullCirlce Photography, a VERY original team!
I look forward to capturing many more awesome moments and always remember….Life is like Photography, you can only develop from the negatives!
