Faith & Ndumiso – A wedding with laughter!
This was our very first celebrity wedding (Yay for us!!). Ndumiso Lindi, or known as ” The Roosta”, is a rising star in the comedy community, rubbing shoulders with fellow comedians like David Kau. He has performed in most big Comedy Festivals around the country and is becoming a regular in Corporate events as an MC and entertainer. Therefore we were quite honored to capture this couples beautiful wedding at Gonubie Manor in East London.
Faith was a vibrant and excited bride. She was full of giggles and laughter while she got ready for her wedding. She is truly very deeply in love with Ndumiso and we were smiling as she told us her and Ndumiso’s Love story.

Amber & Warren – An Intimate Love Affair in St Francis Bay.
We said it before and we will say it again…We LOVE small weddings!! We love the intimate feeling that it has – you just know that everyone present is really important to the bridal couple and love being part of their day. Amber & Warren’s wedding had a total of 35 guests and what made it extra special is that the whole wedding took place at her uncles beautiful Beach House in St Francis Bay.
After days of rainy weather we arrived at the “venue” on a bright and sunny Saturday morning and were greeted by colorful ribbons blowing in the wind, and we just knew, at that moment, that is was going be a super special day.
Nomsa & Simphiwe’s Emotion filled wedding at Fish River Sun Hotel
One of the reasons why we love photographing weddings and why we always will, is that it places you in the position to be a storyteller.
Weddings are more than just beautiful photographs, it is also about the story behind it all. A wedding should be more about the tears of joy, love between the couple, pride in the parents eyes and happiness shared by everyone present than just the beauty of it all. Nomsa and Simphiwe’s wedding at the Fish River Sun Hotel was one of those weddings where both beauty and emotion reached a climax.
Leanda and Ugen – Spicing up Durban with Urban Flair.
It was with great excitement we traveled down to Durban for Leanda and Ugen’s wedding. In fact, we were so excited that not even the long road or very cramped car could dampen our spirits. ( or the fact that I had to entertain our nearly 2 year old all the way to Durban!).
Marius photographed their cleansing ceremony the night before the wedding, and after seeing the vibrant pics on his viewfinder, I just knew that this was going to be a special wedding! (Oh happy dance!)
Almarie & Brendan – Lollipops, toffee apples, a splash of colour and lots of love!
It is always nice to photograph someone you are familiar with, so when we got the chance to photograph our friends Brendan and Almarie’s wedding, we jumped at the chance!
Every couple wants to do things a little different on their wedding day and Brendan and Almarie somehow managed to do just that. It definitely was not your conventional wedding – from the brides very unique and stunning wedding dress and shoes to their wedding theme, everything had a unique twist.
Bulela & Kulungile – Cypress Dale, East London
Bulela and Kulungile got married on a beautiful warm and sunny day in October, and as you can see from the top image, the bride wore a beautiful wedding dress.
