When browsing through photography blogs and forums, the debate about pricing has intensified over the past few months. I can only guess at the reason for this, maybe the global economic crisis? So often I’ve heard couple’s complaining about their wedding photos, but then find out a “friend” or uncle captured their wedding day for them.

Celebrate your Engagement!
Engagement shoots are a great way of celebrating your choice of spending your life together with the person you love. Engagement shoots should be fun, spontaneous and creative. They should also reflect the couple’s unique personalities.
Normally they will also be used in your wedding invitations; guest book etc. so they should also incorporated the same theme you will be using at your wedding. A lot of thought should be put into making these photos memorable, so make sure you know exactly what you want before you stand in front of the camera.

With the huge amount of global interest in the seriousness in global warming, engaged couples are also now starting to look at ways of making their special day more environmentally friendly. The question is however, how do you make sure that your special day leaves a smaller carbon footprint?

As Wedding Photographers, we are honored to be invited into the bride (and sometime the groom’s) dressing place to capture the wealth of emotions and moments surrounding the final hours of ‘singledom’. As the bride is laced up into her dress by her coterie of bridesmaids and her mother looks on adoringly before the final touches are applied, the photographer has the unique opportunity to capture these intimate moments.
