TJ and Eric’s Stylish Midsummer Wedding
I am tempted to quote from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream as our groom, Eric, is a great fan of Shakespeare. (In fact, he quoted most of his wedding vows from Hamlet!) “The course of true love never did run smooth,” Lysander commented in this famous tale told by the bard. This was true for us on this day of capturing photos for this lovely couple. Heavy rain, and a small issue with a battery made sure that not everything ran smoothly for us. BUT challenges are an integral part of WHY we love wedding photography and the images captured on this Midsummer day proves the point.
Angie and Keith’s Country Style Wedding
We met Angie and Keith at the Blue Lagoon Bridal Fair earlier this year and was immediately struck by Angie’s bubbling excitement for life and Keith’s calm and relaxed demeanor. When we browsed through the different stalls at the end of the show – we found them receiving a relaxing massage at one of the beauty vendor’s displays! Clearly they had their priorities straight! During our final consultation with them the week before the wedding, I inquired about the time allocations during the wedding day for portraiture photos, the answer was: ”We do not work on a timetable, just an order of events..” Remarkable! No stressing, no rushing around. The only set time was the time for the bride to arrive. And boy! Did she arrive in style!
